This organic sponge made out of porcelain seems to grow, to be alive, slowly expanding even though it is made out of a dead, hard material. An exciting tension between material and form. I intensified this effect due to exhibiting it in this autopsied presentation.

Experimenting with porcelain for half a year created this unique surface. It is obvious that this structure is not made by carving. I invented a new technique to achieve this decorative plate reminding of a moon or dunes in a desert.
